Swansea boss Roberto Martinez insisted his side deserved at least a point after they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Wolves.

A brace from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake sandwiched Darren Pratley's equaliser and sent Wolves to the top of the table, but the battling Swans were unfortunate not to claim a share of the spoils.

"For the performance, effort and determination of the players, we deserved more," said Martinez.

"This is one of the big environments of the Championship and the occasion didn't get to us as it did in some earlier away games. We created a lot of chances and can take a lot of positives from this match.

"We needed a bit of luck and for Mark Gower's shot to go in off the bar because I was very pleased with some of the football, in difficult circumstances. We were worth at least a point."
