Bournemouth took another point off their deficit and are now only four below zero after a Coca-Cola League Two 1-1 draw at home to Chesterfield.

An Alan Goodall own-goal eight minutes from time gave the Cherries their point after Lloyd Kerry put the Spireites ahead.

Brentford slipped up as Rochdale won 2-1 at Griffin Park with goals from Rory McArdle and William Buckley.

The Bees replied through Dean Bowditch but could not force an equaliser.

Goals from Stuart Drummond and Ryan McGivern earned Morecambe a 2-0 win over Aldershot, who missed a penalty through John Grant.

Exeter beat Chester by the same scoreline with goals from Adam Stansfield and Matthew Taylor while David Howland hit the only goal as Port Vale won at Lincoln.

Adam Miller's 18th-minute effort saw Gillingham to a 1-0 win at Macclesfield while Ryan Cresswell struck 11 minutes from time as Bury won 1-0 at Notts County.

Dagenham & Redbridge and Accrington Stanley played out a goalless draw.
