Jonhson sets play-off targets

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson hopes his side can continue their charge towards the Championship play-off places after the 2-0 win at west country rivals Plymouth.

City's victory at Home Park was their third in a current four-match unbeaten streak and with three of the next four games at home, Johnson believes they are in with a good chance of maintaining their run.

"That's a big result for us and puts a little bit of distance between us and Plymouth and with our game in hand puts us closer to the play off places," said Johnson. "We have won three and drawn one of our last four games and now we have a little run of three game at home and only one away."

Second-half goals from Michael McIndoe and Liam Fontaine gave City the win, on the game itself Johnson added: "We had a little bit of a sticky start but got stronger as the game wore on. I felt that we did not get at them enough in the first half and their forwards were causing more problems than our forwards.

"Michael McIndoe came on and I switched formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2 and we never looked back."
