Fletcher set for Plymouth switch

Crystal Palace midfielder Carl Fletcher is poised to join Plymouth on a one-month loan deal.

The Wales international was immediately installed as club captain when he first signed for the Eagles from West Ham but is now surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park.

The 28-year-old was loaned out to Nottingham Forest earlier in the season and is now on the verge of linking up with Paul Sturrock at Home Park.
