Stoke midfielder Tom Soares has moved to Charlton after the club agreed a one-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old arrived in the summer from Crystal Palace for £1.5million but has struggled to win a place in the side and will make a temporary return to the Coca-Cola Championship.
Soares made his last Barclays Premier League start in November against Hull, and Stoke manager Tony Pulis said: "Tom needs games under his belt."
