Plymouth central defender Kari Arnason is delighted to have signed an extended contract with the Championship club.
The Icelandic international was initially signed on a one-year deal last summer but has now penned a new two-year contract extension tying him to Argyle until summer 2012.
The 27-year-old said: "I think both parties are happy with the outcome. I like it here. When I signed the first contract for one year it was basically just to prove myself. I knew my worth but had to prove it to the club.I think I have done a decent job of that so it's nice to have some stability now."
