West Brom have signed West Ham striker Frank Nouble on an initial month-long loan, with the deal set to be completed when the emergency window reopens on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old will be eligible for the home clash against Scunthorpe but will be unavailable for Saturday's FA Cup clash at Reading due to his earlier involvement in this season's competition with the Hammers.GiveMeFootball TVFabio Capello and England learn their fate in Euro 2012 group >>
"Frank is an exciting, young player who I am delighted to welcome to the club," said West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo.
He added: "He can play in any of the three forward positions - down the middle, wide left or wide right - and we hope the next month is a fruitful one for the club and Frank.
"His main attributes are that he's powerful, quick and good on the ball but we mustn't forget he is still very young."
Di Matteo has entered the market as a result of Ishmael Miller's enforced absence due to an ankle injury and Jerome Thomas' four-match suspension.
