Sheffield United striker Henri Camara has played his last game for the club after limping out of Sunday's home defeat to Scunthorpe.

The 32-year-old former Wolves and Celtic striker suffered a recurrence of a troublesome groin injury 25 minutes after replacing James Harper as a second-half substitute.

Manager Kevin Blackwell said: "Although Henri Camara came on from the bench he has now played his last football for the club. We needed to throw him in. He showed a spark in his 25 minutes but the same groin went again and it will be the end of the season before it heals."

Camara, signed on a short-term contract until the end of the season in October to help ease the Blades' injury problems, has made a total of 23 appearances for the Blades, scoring four goals.
