Sheffield United will meet with local residents to discuss proposed improvements to Bramall Lane.

The Blades are hoping to redevelop the South Stand with an additional 6,000 seats and conference and hospitality facilities as part of their aim to make Bramall Lane a World Cup venue in 2018.

"We are keen to receive the views of the local community and our fans," chief executive Jason Rockett told the club's official website.

"The plans are exciting not only for United but for the city and the areas near to the stadium."

Residents and supporters will be able to see plans and computer generated images of the proposed work on Monday June 22 and Wednesday June 24 in the John Street Stand at the stadium.Í
