Birmingham manager Steve Bruce praised the "huge improvement" in his side as they moved to the top of the Coca-Cola Championship for the first time this season.A 3-0 home win over Plymouth courtesy of goals from Nicklas Bendtner, Gary McSheffrey and Matthew Upson took Birmingham clear of nearest rivals Preston and Cardiff.Bruce said: "It´s nice to be top of the table but it is only the beginning of December. There are five months to go still. But what is pleasing is the huge improvement that is now evident compared to when we started the season."
