Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has dismissed speculation linking Matthew Upson with a January transfer window move to city rivals Aston Villa.Reports have suggested Villa boss Martin O´Neill is preparing a move for the highly-rated Upson but Bruce is keen to keep the former Arsenal man, who has 18 months left on his contract, at St Andrews.He said: "I only spoke to Martin O´Neill a couple of weeks ago and he never mentioned Upson to me. Where that has come from, I don´t know."
