Winger Chris Burke is understood to be having a medical with Cardiff on Thursday as he looks to tie up a move from Rangers.
According to reports, the Championship club have agreed a fee with the Scottish Premier League giants for the 25-year-old and he is expected to complete the finer details of his move before Saturday's encounter against Derby.
The Bluebirds have swooped for Burke having missed on a permanent deal for previously on-loan winger Wayne Routledge, who opted for a switch to QPR.
