QPR midfielder Akos Buzsaky has denied he has handed in a transfer request following a high-profile bust-up with manager Jim Magilton.
Magilton has been suspended by Rangers for allegedly head butting the Hungarian midfielder during the 3-1 defeat at Watford on Monday. But the 27-year-old has categorically denied that he has handed in a transfer request, instead insisting he is fully focused on their next game.
"It is not true at all," Buzsaky told the club's official website. "I am entirely focused on our next fixture against West Bromwich Albion on Monday night."
He added: "We are in a strong position just three points outside the play-offs and as professional footballers our sole aim is to focus on the upcoming matches."
The club have yet to confirm who will be in charge for the upcoming games, with Magilton expected to be suspended for the foreseeable future.
The suspension relates to allegations that the Ulsterman reacted furiously to Buzsaky's response when he asked whether he thought he was being bullied.
Magilton allegedly head butted him before Patrick Agyemang stepped in to intervene, condemning Magilton for the unprovoked attack while Buzsaky stormed out of the dressing room.
