Calling all former Blues - contact Kev now!

By Givemefootball .com  April 08, 2008

Birmingham City are calling on all former players to return to the club for a weekend extravaganza against Liverpool to launch their former players' society.

Blues' legend Kevan Broadhurst is spearheading the new organisation and has put out the call to any former players not in contact to give him a bell.

The former players' society plan to have a number of functions throughout the year and the inaugural event will take place at St Andrew's on Friday April 25th (7:30pm) with drinks and a meal as well as overnight accommodation.

There are tickets available for the crunch clash with Liverpool on Saturday April 26th at St Andrew's as well to ensure the weekend goes off with a bang.

Any former Birmingham City players of any era interested in becoming a member should contact Kevan on 07976 408623.

Kevan also co-manages the Birmingham City All-Stars who play occasional fixtures for charity on Sunday mornings and is also on the look-out for players to appear in these games as well.
