Cardiff have been given the green light by shareholders to sell land in an effort to save the troubled club.
The Coca-Cola Championship club owe money to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs and are due back in the High Court on March 10 to face a winding-up order. The sale of land at the Cardiff City Stadium, which will be used for a new sports complex, will provide a boost to Cardiff's financial worries.
A club spokesman said: "The resolution was passed at an extraordinary general meeting. The club has the approval of the shareholders to go ahead with the sale of some land."
