India striker Sunil Chetri claims he will return to Coventry next month for an extended trial.

Chetri was linked with a move to the Ricoh Arena earlier this year after training with Chris Coleman's side for only two days.

He told Express India: "The last time they wanted to observe me for 15 days but I could only be there for just two. It didn't work out then but this time I would certainly go for the desired time."

He added: "Like my contract with every club, there's a clause mentioning this issue. My commitments with Coventry will be finished by June."
