Derby manager Nigel Clough claims Stephen Bywater is one of the top six goalkeepers in the country at the moment.
The Rams have been on a poor fun of form and languish 20th in the Championship, but Clough is keen to praise Bywater for his magnificent performances.
"Despite the defeats I think Stephen Bywater is in fine form at the moment," he said. "I am very pleased with him and I feel he's improving."
He added: "When you look at the list of English goalkeepers at the moment, he must be in the top half dozen in the country on current form."
