Burnley manager Steve Cotterill lavished praise on captain Wayne Thomas after his side ended Preston´s 11-game unbeaten domestic run in thrilling fashion at Turf Moor.Thomas returned from a four-game ban - his second suspension of the season - to skipper the side to a memorable 3-2 victory and answer questions about his temperament following his red-card shame against Southampton and Hartlepool earlier this season.Cotterill said: "I thought Wayne Thomas was immaculate and I´m absolutely delighted with the response from the fans towards him. There would have been some people who would have had some doubts about Wayne but he´s kept his head up."
