Former Scotland international Christian Dailly is training with Peterborough.

The veteran defender, who last played for Portsmouth 12 months ago, featured in a reserve-team game against Ipswich on Tuesday. Posh boss Darren Ferguson remained coy on whether he plans to add the 37-year-old to his squad.

"I know him well from playing for Scotland with him, he is looking for somewhere to train," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"I felt playing in the game would do him a favour but also us, because I felt a bit of experience alongside Josh Thompson might help him, that is all it is."
