Barnsley boss Simon Davey generously backed Cardiff to do the Coca-Cola Championship proud in the FA Cup final - after the Bluebirds had succeeded where Liverpool and Chelsea failed this season.

The Tykes eliminated the Barclays Premier League´s Reds and Blues on the way to Sunday´s Cup semi-final at Wembley, where Joe Ledley´s early volley was enough to give Cardiff a 1-0 victory and book a return visit to take on Portsmouth next month.

Welshman Davey has no doubt Dave Jones and Co will prove worthy opponents for Premier League Pompey and predicted: "Cardiff will acquit themselves in the final."
