Saturday's 1-1 draw between Blackpool and Crystal Palace at Bloomfield Road was the Tangerines' sixth draw in their last seven matches and manager Simon Grayson will be keen for his side to rediscover the winning formula and start turning some of these stalemates into victories. Pool's hard-earned point came courtesy of a 69th minute equaliser from David Fox to deny Neil Warnock a victorious start to his managerial stint at Palace after Tom Soares had put the Eagles in front. Givemefootball's Mark Shail logged the thoughts of Fox after he netted his first league goal since March and also discovered there is no truth in the rumours linking the midfielder with a move to Stoke.

Q:YOU MUST HAVE BEEN DELIGHTED TO GET ON THE SCORESHEET?

A:Yes, I couldn't actually remember when my last goal was because it's been that long. I remember one against Bradford in pre-season but before then I'm not sure (it was actually in a 2-2 draw against Gillingham). I'm relieved to have scored because I've had a couple of golden chances already this season.

Q:TALK US THROUGH THE GOAL?

A:I was just on the end of the wall and trying to block the goalkeeper's view so if (Stephen) Crainey's free kick had gone over the wall the keeper might be late reacting. I don't know how it fell to me. It hit about three of four people before it fell to me and then it was a case of getting it out of my feet, hitting it as hard as I could and fortunately it hit a few bodies and went in. It's lucky for me that one came nicely to me in the box and I was able to tuck it away.

Q:THAT WAS AN IMPORTANT GOAL AFTER GOING 1-0 DOWN, WASN'T IT?

A:That got us right back into the contest and from there on there was only one team in the game. We did well to come back but it's another point at home. They were up for their new manager and we found it difficult at times but we showed our character to come back.

Q:IT’S A POINT SALVAGED, BUT I SUPPOSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THESE DRAWS BEING TURNED INTO WINS?

A:Yes, obviously it's a point gained, because we need all the points we can get, but we seem to be repeating ourselves every week because we seem to be drawing all the time. It's a point yes, but we are frustrated because we could have easily won the game. But Palace had a chance at the end and they could have won. So it could have gone either way but the bottom line is that it's these sort of games at home when you need to be picking up maximum points.

Q:HAVE YOU HEARD ANY OF THE RUMOURS LINKING YOU WITH A MOVE AWAY FROM BLOOMFIELD ROAD?

A:My old man (goalkeeping coach Peter Fox) said something to me about it but I've not got a clue, it's all news to me. I'm not going anywhere. I feel wanted here, it feels like home. I don't want to go anywhere else.
