Derby defender Miles Addison looks set to miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

Scans have revealed that Addison, who has been plagued by the injury ever since he broke his foot over a year ago, is to wear a special boot to aid his recovery and will also see an American specialist.

Manager Nigel Clough said: "I can't see him playing again this season. We are looking at all the options at the moment. He's having more scans, different opinions, but with three months to go, I can't see him coming back."

The 21-year-old has featured in 16 matches for the Rams this term, with his last appearance coming in the FA Cup third-round win over Millwall in January.
