Stephen Dobbie has completed his move to Swansea after passing a medical.

The 26-year-old, top scorer in the Scottish Football League this season, has agreed to join the Swans from Queen of the South at the start of the month.

Swansea manager Roberto Martinez told the club's official website: "We were tracking him since his first season at Queen of the South. When you finish as the club's top scorer you've got to take an interest."

He added: "He has reinvented himself in the last two seasons and is at the best stage of his career. He is a typical Swansea City player - very gifted and very strong technically. He's also a natural goalscorer.

"He's our first signing of the new campaign and will add extra competition to a forward line that is already looking exciting for next season."
