Graham Dorrans has swiftly put an end to any speculation regarding his West Brom future by signing a new three-and-a-half-year contract which includes another 12 months in the club's favour.
It is the second time in the past seven months the 22-year-old midfielder has penned a new and improved deal and it highlights Albion's determination to keep hold of their man amid supposed interest from a handful of top-flight teams.
His opener against Huddersfield on Saturday, his third goal in five days and eighth of the season, set the club on their way to a 2-0 triumph and a place in the FA Cup fourth round. Dorrans told the club's official website: "I've really enjoyed the season so far and I`m glad it`s all sorted now so I can concentrate on playing."
Dorrans has certainly risen to prominence this season courtesy of a series of eye-catching performances in what is his first full campaign in England - even earning recognition at international level for Scotland.
He added: "I came down from Scotland and got my chance here. I`ve broken into the team and managed to play most of the games this season. I now just want to keep playing and hopefully get the club back into the Premier League."
