Crystal Palace boss Iain Dowie claims chairman Simon Jordan´s attempt to buy Selhurst Park from Ron Noades would transform the club.

Dowie hopes owning their stadium would lead to an increase in revenue for Palace and allow the Barclays Premiership strugglers to sign better players.

Dowie said: "Any investment in the infrastructure of the club will be a help. It will help raise money and with the emergence of that goes an increase in the wage budget because the two go hand in hand.
