Reading striker Kevin Doyle has scooped the official Championship Player of the Month Award for September.
The Royals' 25-year-old forward scored five times during the month and has helped catapult his team to third place in the league behind leaders Birmingham and Wolves.
Doyle has scored eight goals in total this season and tops the Championship's scoring charts.
He said: "To get an individual award is always a nice feeling. If I wasn't going to get it this month I suppose I'd never get it."
Also shortlisted were Burnley's Joey Gudjonsson, Martin Albrechtsen of Derby and Wolves' Michael Kightly.
