Charlton boss Phil Parkinson admits the loss of midfielders Zheng Zhi and Therry Racon for much of the season through injury has had a major bearing on their struggles.

China captain Zheng has only just returned from a foot injury he suffered in October which eventually required surgery. Young Frenchman Racon has also been an impressive addition to the midfield since coming back from a 10-week absence with a foot problem.

"Having ZiZi and Racon back has improved the team significantly, and I only wish I could have had them available earlier," said Parkinson.
