Derby have signed midfielder John Eustace on loan from Coca-Cola Championship rivals Watford until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has made 17 appearances for Watford this season but has not featured for the Hornets in 2009.

Rams boss Nigel Clough was looking for reinforcements following injuries to Paul Green and defender Miles Addison, who have both been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to have got another body into the club and to have got someone with John's experience and pedigree is an added bonus.

"He knows his way around this division and will be ready for action immediately if selected."

Eustace, who moved to Vicarage Road from Stoke in January 2008 will not be eligible to face the Hornets in the final game of the season but goes straight into the squad for Tuesday night's match at Southampton.
