The Football Association have charged Reading winger Jobi McAnuff with improper conduct.

McAnuff was sent off after the final whistle of the Royals' FA Cup replay against West Brom on Wednesday and will begin a three-match ban against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

McAnuff has until 6pm on Monday, March 1 to respond to the charge under fast-track procedures and an Independent Regulatory Commission will hear the case on Thursday, March 4.



The FA have also confirmed they have written to both clubs to seek their observations following a melee which occurred after the final whistle in the same fixture.
