Birmingham chairman David Gold is confident manager Steve Bruce will remain at the club after steering them back into the Barclays Premiership.Bruce has been the subject of speculation suggesting he would quit the Blues after six years even if they regained their place in the top flight. But Gold, who kept faith with Bruce when fans wanted him to quit in October, is optimistic the former Manchester United skipper will want to oversee City´s return to the elite. He said: "I have not heard the talk about Steve going. I am not sure where it has come from. But I have no reason to believe Steve won´t be here at the start of next season."
