Birmingham chairman David Gold insists manager Steve Bruce will be given the chance to guide the club back to the Premiership should they be relegated this season.Sunday´s 3-1 defeat by bitter local rivals Aston Villa was a new low in a catastrophic season for Bruce´s side, which has been decimated by injuries and poor form.Asked whether Bruce would remain at the helm next season even if Blues were in the Championship, Gold told Sky Sports News: "Absolutely. What he´s had to undergo these past eight months (with injuries) has been amazing."
