Coventry defender Marcus Hall has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club.

The left-back, 33, who will play his testimonial against Everton on August 2, racked up his 300th appearance for the Sky Blues towards the end of last season. And his extended deal means he will remain at the Ricoh Arena until summer 2010.

"I've always said I wanted to stay here because this is my boyhood club, so I'm delighted to be here for another season," Hall told the club's official website.

"It's great to know I will be here for another year, now I can concentrate on getting ready for the new season when we all report for training next week."
