Hull's Craig Fagan is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Fagan has undergone a hip arthroscopy to correct a long-term problem and has seen no improvement following physiotherapy or injection therapy.

The striker has four months of rehabilitation ahead of him before he can make a return to football.

Meanwhile, fellow frontman Caleb Folan has undergone an exploratory procedure to his knee.

The early signs were positive and he is now continuing his rehabilitation process with a view to returning to action as soon as possible.
