Reading striker Noel Hunt believes he is three weeks away from a return to full fitness.
The Republic of Ireland international made his first league appearance in 10 months when he came off the bench at Portsmouth on Saturday and is targeting a return to the starting line-up within a month.
He said: "It has been a long time coming. I have been counting every day until I played so it was great."
Hunt added: "My full fitness has to come and I've got two or three weeks fitness to catch up but the knee has been perfect for a couple of months now.
"I've worked hard and I feel great. Hopefully a goal is not far away."
