LEEDS UNITED v WOLVES
Two of last season's Premiership sides clash at Elland Road in what is a last-ditch bid to reach the play-offs. It has been a tough season for the hosts who are just glad to still be in business and manager Kevin Blackwell has moulded together a decent young team.
Leeds currently lie seven points behind Reading in the play-off zone and have got to finish the season in style to have any chance of completing an immediate return. But with players such as Aaron Lennon and Fraser Richardson proving their worth then Leeds should be even stronger next season.
Their young bucks won't find it easy against draw specialists Wolves, who have been locked in a stalemate on 18 occasions this season.
Kenny Miller will enjoy facing up to his old teammate Paul Butler in what is sure to be a crucial battle, while attacking midfielder Seol is back at Molineux today after playing for South Korea against Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
However, Glenn Hoddle may decide to rest Seol and save him for their trip to Leicester on Tuesday instead. "Leeds won't have too many players who have travelled round the world," said Hoddle. "And that's something we need to have a real close look at."
CLARKY'S VERDICT: Leeds have got seven home draws under their belts already and Wolves have got seven on the road – expect that to be eight by five o'clock tomorrow.
COVENTRY CITY v BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION
Micky Adams will be hoping his side can 'feed the goat' and see him score in this crucial battle. The Sky Blues dropped into the bottom three for the first time this season after their 1-0 defeat at Sunderland a fortnight ago and Adams has responded by bringing in Shaun Goater from Reading.
The Bermudan international is a proven goalscorer at this level and Adams will be hoping he can work the oracle against Brighton.
Lloyd Dyers is set to make his debut on loan from West Brom to give Adams' men some much-needed pace on the flanks. Adie Williams is also likely to return after missing the last two games with a calf injury to bolster Coventrys back-line in what is sure to be a tense afternoon.
Brighton are just three points ahead of Coventry and in a bad run of form themselves. Mark McGhee is working miracles to keep them in the Championship on gates of less than 7,000 but it looks like Father Time might be catching up with them.
Whether Brighton will be able to cope with Coventry's uncompromising style remains to be seen, but Highfield Road will be ho place for the faint-hearted.
CLARKY'S VERDICT: Goater to score on his debut as Coventry pick up three valuable points.
PLYMOUTH ARGYLE v CARDIFF CITY
Two more relegation candidates lock horns at Home Park in a huge must-win game for both sides. Cardiff are £30m in debt and relegation could cause them massive problems. Graham Kavanagh was sold for £750,000 to Wigan to help their financial state, although Lennie Lawrence has been able to bring in Neil Ardley and Michael Boulding to help their cause.
Plymouth's transfer-deadline signing was Jason Dodd from Southampton, and Bobby Williamson will be hoping that his top flight experience with Southampton will help his leaky defence.
If the Pilgrims can win this game then it will take them five points clear of Cardiff and ensure they take one huge stride toward safety. Dexter Blackstock is a big threat along with Paul Wotton's fierce free kicks and they are sure to give Cardiff an uncomfortable afternoon.
CLARKY'S VERDICT: Plymouth to be celebrating after racking up a valuable win to leave Cardiff in the mire.
