Ipswich skipper Jon Walters says he is only interested in planning for the future rather than dwelling on the past.

Walters wants to help the Tractor Boys press on in 2010 after their failings in the Championship this year.

"I don't really want to think about what's gone wrong," he told Daily Gazette. "There were some games when we were putting in performances and not getting the results we deserved. But we all know we haven't done very well. There's no point reflecting on the negatives."

He added: "We were poor and there's no hiding from that. Equally, there's no point looking back and picking the bones out of it.

"We're on a decent unbeaten run now, looking a lot more solid and the lads are pretty happy."
