Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for the first match at the new Wembley Stadium.David Nugent´s promotion to the senior squad has led to 20-year-old Jerome being added to the squad to face Italy by stand-in coach Nigel Pearson.Jerome faces competition for a starting place from Reading striker Leroy Lita, the only player among Pearson´s five forwards to have scored at under-21 level.
