Watford have released striker Steve Kabba by mutual consent after he failed to make an appearance for the club this season.

The 28-year-old forward was a £500,000 signing from Sheffield United in January 2007 but made just 29 appearances in his two-and-a half years at the club, scoring one goal.

He joined Blackpool on loan in the summer for five months before finishing the campaign with League One Oldham.
