Reading midfielder Jem Karacan has called for the players to repay the faith shown by manager Brendan Rodgers and finally win a home game this weekend.

Rodgers has come under pressure after a slow start at the Madejski Stadium but saw his young side beat Coventry last weekend and Karacan wants another three points against Ipswich.

"It was great to get the win and you can see the smiles on people's faces, they're all buzzing," said Karacan. "The gaffer has done everything he could, given us the information needed and told us all about the other team and we just haven't gone out and done the business."

He added: "We all love the training and we want to do well for him. He's shown a lot of faith in the boys and we want to give it back to him."
