Kyle leaves Sky Blues

Striker Kevin Kyle has had his contract with Coventry terminated by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old has been out of favour since Chris Coleman became manager in February last year - he has not made a first-team appearance for the Sky Blues under the Welshman.

Kyle was immediately loaned out to Championship rivals Wolves when Coleman arrived at the Ricoh Arena and has spent the majority of this season on loan at League One club Hartlepool.

The Scot scored five goals in 45 appearances after joining Coventry from Sunderland for £600,000 in August 2006.
