Hungarian defender Zoltan Liptak has cut short his loan spell with Southampton.
The former Southend centre-half arrived on the south-coast from Budapest side Ujpest FC in February, but made just seven substitute appearances for the struggling Saints and has now returned to his parent club.
"I think Zoltan's loan was a useful one and he was able to provide us with good back-up," said Saints boss Mark Wotte. "He came on several times and helped us secure a few good results."
