Southampton defender Claus Lundekvam insists he would sacrifice a testimonial to sign for Celtic in January. The Norwegian defender was wanted by new Hoops boss Gordon Strachan in the summer but the move fell through when Bobo Balde opted to stay in Glasgow and the 32-year-old is still keen on teaming up with his old Southampton boss again when the transfer window reopens.Lundekvam told the Sunday Mail: "There was real interest from Celtic but they had to sell a couple of guys before I could go and that didn´t happen. I would have been keen to play for them if an offer was accepted but it wasn´t to be."
