Edgar Davids has been given 24 hours to decide whether he wants to sign for Leicester, according to chairman Milan Mandaric.
Davids has held talks with the Foxes but Mandaric is demanding an answer from the former Holland international.
"We have given him 24 hours to respond," Mandaric said in the Leicester Mercury
"At the moment, I'm not sure where we are with it. I don't know, nor have I been given any indication one way or another.
"I'd say it's 50-50 at the moment. By [on Wednesday] we should find out more."
