Goalkeeper David Marshall has completed his move to Cardiff from Norwich for a reported six-figure fee.
It was revealed on Tuesday that the Canaries had accepted a bid and the 24-year-old agreed terms with the Bluebirds on Tuesday night before putting pen to paper.
Marshall`s agent Willie McKay told Cardiff`s official website, www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk: "He`s really delighted to be coming to a great club like Cardiff City."
Marshall becomes the first big-name player to depart Carrow Road after the club`s relegation to Coca-Cola League One, and is the first new arrival at Cardiff as Dave Jones looks to enhance his squad following the heartbreaking manner in which they missed out on a play-off place.
The highly-rated shot-stopper, who appeared for Scotland B last week, signed for Norwich from Celtic in 2007 for £1million.
McKay added: "Cardiff are potentially a big, big club and all they need to do is step forward into the Premier League and I think they will be there to stay.
"I`m sure David will be a big fans favourite and I always thought he would play in the Premier League at some stage. I hope it`s with Cardiff."
