Cardiff striker Ross McCormack fears an exodus in the summer if the club do not gain promotion.
The Bluebirds currently lie fourth in the Championship after a 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions, and McCormack wants the squad to stay together.
"I think most of the boys here are destined for the Premier League," said McCormack.
He continued: "It is a little bit sad because I think if we don't go up this season, there is going to be a lot of players who are going to be sold maybe to Premier League teams.
"The side may be broken up, but I suppose it is the same anywhere when you are doing well, there are going to be teams in the next division looking to take people.
"So, hopefully, we can get out this year. We are going to need to I feel."
