Ross McCormack insists he is fit and raring to return to Cardiff's first-team squad.

The prodigiously talented striker featured as a late substitute in the comprehensive 4-0 thrashing of Watford 10 days ago having been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

"I'm feeling sharp, I'm feeling fit," he told Wales Online. "I feel ready for 90 minutes. Championship football is a different level but I'm ready for the match against Palace."

He added: "Fitness is not a problem for me right now. I just need match sharpness and the two friendlies I have played in against Hereford United and Bristol Rovers will hold me in good stead."
