New Burnley recruit Ben Mee has revealed he has always followed the club after arriving at Turf Moor on a season-long loan from Manchester City.
The England Under-21 international progressed through the Academy ranks at Eastlands, captaining City's side to FA Youth Cup success over Chelsea in 2008.
Mee, 21, made his first-team debut in the Carling Cup last season and then joined Leicester on loan in January, making 15 Championship appearances for the Foxes. Mee said: "One of my first games was actually at Burnley."
He added: "I think it was against Notts County.
"I have always watched Burnley, ever since I was young.
"It was a family friend who took me to watch them so I have always followed them and it was exciting when they were in the Premier League to see the club doing so well."
