Mark Robins is still keen to strengthen his Rotherham squad despite signing four new players already this summer.

Goalkeeper Jamie Annerson, midfielder Nicky Law, winger Kevin Ellison and striker Tom Pope have joined the League Two club.

Robins told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "I wanted to get two or three in fairly quickly and I had identified the players I wanted."

He added: "It doesn't mean that we are done. I'm still looking to add to the squad, but there is no need to rush either. I'm happy to have done things early and now I will be prepared to wait as well if necessary.

"When clubs start returning to pre-season training it's often a time when things start moving.

"We're not going to have as big a squad as we had last season, but I believe it will be stronger and there is going to be strong competition for places."
