Leeds manager Simon Grayson has bolstered his defence by signing Ipswich defender Richard Naylor on loan.
Naylor, a lifelong Leeds fan, has been in and out of the starting line-up at Portman Road this season and his contract expires in the summer.
Grayson said: "He's a good, strong centre-back. He's got plenty of experience and he's played plenty of games in the Championship this season."
He added: "He will bring a wealth of experience and brings a lot that I believe will help."
Naylor, whose initial loan spell runs until February 19, is expected to go straight into Leeds' squad for their clash at Brighton on Saturday.
The Leeds-born 31-year-old started his career as a trainee with Ipswich in 1995 and has made over 300 appearances for the Tractor Boys.
