Crystal Palace defender Paddy McCarthy has undergone further surgery on his shoulder - but he should not be sidelined for much longer.
The Irish centre-back, who has been out since October after his initial operation, went back under the knife on Friday.
Boss Paul Hart said: "Paddy had an operation to remove a couple of screws which were causing him some discomfort. He's happy with the outcome and so are we."
Hart added: "He should be looking at a return in two to three weeks if everything is okay."
